          This Specific Terms and Conditions for GoPayz-MAIPk Visa Prepaid Card terms and conditions is applicable to you if you subscribe           to the GoPayz-MAIPk Visa Prepaid Card and is to be read as an integral part of the GoPayz Service Agreement.          

 

1.  DEFINITIONS
 

Unless otherwise defined in the GoPayz Service Agreement, capitalized terms in this Schedule 1 shall have the corresponding meaning:

 

“GoPayz-MAIPk Visa Prepaid Card”

means the Card that bears MAIPk’s name and marks;
“Restricted Transactions” means the Transactions described in Clause 2(a) below;
“GoBiz” means the merchant payment processing service via the payment terminal or payment kiosk operated by U Mobile Sdn Bhd Registration No. 199101013657 (223969-U) that is made available at www.gobiz.com.my and via the GoBiz mobile application; and
“MAIPk” means Majlis Agama Islam dan 'Adat Melayu Perak, having its principal place of business at Tingkat 1 Kompleks Islam Darul Ridzuan, Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab, 30000 Ipoh.
2.  THE GOPAYZ-MAIPK VISA CARD FEATURES
 

i. The GoPayz-MAIPk Visa Prepaid Card cannot be used by you for any Transactions via the Wallet Account or Card at the following merchants (“Restricted Transactions”):

 

a. drinking places which serves alcoholic beverages such as bars, taverns, nightclubs, cocktail lounges, and discotheques;

b. premises that sell packaged alcoholic beverages such as beer, wine, and liquor for consumption off the premises including a limited  variety of food and snack items, newspapers and magazines, and a limited selection of toiletries and over-the-counter medicines;

c. cigar stores and stands;

d. dating services;

e. massage parlours;

f. miscellaneous personal services as determined by Visa;

g. government-owned lotteries;

h. government licensed on-line casinos;

i. government-licensed horse/dog racing;

j. billiard and pool establishments;

k. betting, including lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, off-track betting, and wagers at racetracks; or

l. any other merchants as may be notified by us from time to time.


ii. The list of Restricted Transactions under Clause 2(a) above is not exhaustive and is dependent on the assignment of the Transaction category by the respective Merchant’s acquiring bank. If the Transaction is not restricted due to incorrect assignment of the Transaction category by the acquiring bank, you agree that we shall not be held responsible for such discrepancies.

3.  GOPOINTZ
 
a.  You will be entitled to receive GoPointz for any Transaction involving payment for MAIPk zakat, wakaf and derma using the GoPayz-MAIPk Visa Prepaid Card via your Wallet Account or at any GoBiz terminals or payment kiosk designated by MAIPk or for any other Transaction as may be determined by us from time to time.
 
b. The GoPointz you earned via your usage of the GoPayz-MAIPk Visa Prepaid Card:
 
i. can be used as payment for MAIPk zakat, wakaf, derma and to redeem various rewards from participating merchants via the GoPayz Service; and

ii. will be automatically converted and donated to MAIPk wakaf fund on a semi-annual basis per calendar year. We may notify you 21 days prior to the conversion date to enable you to redeem or utilise your GoPointz for other existing GoPayz Service or services.

4.  TERMINATION
 
a. If the GoPayz-MAIPk Visa Prepaid Card is terminated for any reason, the features and benefits provided under the GoPayz-MAIPk Visa Prepaid Card, shall cease to exist. However, your GoPayz Account and Card will continue to exist until terminated in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Agreement.
 
b. We shall have the right to cease, replace or extend additional services, benefits and privileges under the GoPayz-MAIPk Visa Prepaid Card from time to time by providing prior notice to you.
