  1. This GoPayz GoLife 10 i-Mula50 Programme (“Programme”) is jointly organised by U Mobile Services Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 200401034375 (672884-H) (“U Mobile Services”) and Sun Life Malaysia Assurance Berhad (Registration No. (199001005930 (197499-U)) (“SLMA”) which is an initiative by the Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (“LIAM”) to offer a sponsorship worth RM50 to all Malaysians for the purchase of life insurance product.
  2. GoLife 10 is a life insurance product underwritten by SLMA, an insurer licensed by Bank Negara Malaysia under the Financial Services Act 2013, and is  subject to the applicable terms and conditions imposed by SLMA which are available at GoPayzGoLife10 product page. U Mobile Services makes no representations nor warranties on GoLife 10.
  3. This Programme will commence at 08:00 on 23 September 2024 and will end at 23:59 on 31 December 2024 or when the RM5 million fund is fully utilized, whichever occurs first. (“Programme Period”).
  4. By participating in this Programme, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).
  5. Programme Eligibility
    1. This Programme is open to all new and existing GoPayz users with active GoPayz accounts who:
      1. are Malaysian citizens between the age of 18 to 49;
      2. are in good health condition, not on any medication and not suffering from any form of disability or serious illness and have no history of admission to hospital in the past 2 years.
      GoPayz users with active GoPayz accounts will be able to perform transactions using the GoPayz account.
    2. Malaysia Permanent Residents who purchase the GoLife 10 plan are not eligible to participate in this Programme.
    3. U Mobile Services and SLMA reserve the right to reject any application by any participant without assigning any reason.
  6. Programme Mechanics
    1. To participate in this Programme, you must register GoLife 10 (“GoLife 10”) using your GoPayz account during the Programme Period by (“Opt-In”):
      1. selecting the ‘Life Insurance” tab under Financial Services tab;
      2. selecting GoLife 10;
      3. keying in “IMULA50” under Shop Promo Code column;
      4. making an initial payment of RM10 for the monthly premium at the checkout page to participate in this Programme; and
      5. continuing to make monthly contribution of at least RM10 for the next two (2) consecutive months.
    2. Each participant is only entitled to Opt-In once during the Programme Period.
    3. GoLife 10 will be automatically renewed on a monthly basis upon the end of Freemium Period unless you opt-out via GoPayz or by contacting GoPayz Customer Careline at +6018 388 3388.(“Opt-Out”).
  7. Rewards
    1. The participants who complete the steps listed in paragraph 6(a) above shall be automatically entitled to a complimentary GoLife 10 insurance coverage (“Freemium”) for five (5) months (“Freemium Period”).
    2. The monthly premium payable for GoLife 10 is RM10 (“Premium”). However, during the Freemium Period, you will not be required to make payment for the Premium.
    3. The Premium will be charged in the following manner:
      1. if you opt to pay for the Premium via your GoPayz Account, the Premium payable will be deducted from your GoPayz Account;
      2. if you opt to pay for the Premium via your credit card that is linked to your GoPayz account, the Premium payable will be charged to your credit card; or
      3. if you opt to pay for the Premium via your debit card that is linked to your GoPayz account, the premium payable will be deducted from your debit card account,
      on a monthly basis unless you Opt-Out in accordance with the policy terms and conditions prescribed by SLMA.
  8. General
    1. U Mobile Services or SLMA reserve the right to amend or change the Terms and Conditions (including the terms and conditions applicable to GoLife 10), terminate, suspend this Programme or extend the Programme Period without any prior notice. Any such change will be announced on our website or the website of SLMA. It is your responsibility to check the Terms and Conditions on our website and/or the website of SLMA.
    2. You signify your absolute and unconditional acceptance of all the Terms and Conditions stipulated herein and if you do not agree to any of the amendment or changes to the Terms and Conditions, you must immediately cease participation in the Programme.
    3. By participating in the Programme, all participants:
      1. consent for U Mobile Services to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Programme;
      2. consent for U Mobile Services to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile Services sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials;
      3. grant U Mobile Services the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation; and
      4. agree that their personal information shall be used by SLMA for the purpose of processing GoLife 10 application.
    4. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile Services, SLMA and their related corporation (as defined under Section 7 of the Companies Act 2016) (“Related Corporation”) excludes all liability in connection with this Programme. All participants agree to release U Mobile Services and its Related Corporation from and indemnify U Mobile Services and its Related Corporation against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) or breach of any of these Terms and Conditions; whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Programme.
    5. The subscription and use of GoPayz is subject to the GoPayz Service Agreement and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, the GoPayz Service Agreement will prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
    6. The Programme and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all the matters arising from this Programme.
