Note: Please refer below for step-by-step instructions to perform the necessary actions within your account.
You may request for an account closure and refund the remaining balance in your e-wallet to your bank account. This process will also cancel any of your existing prepaid cards.
You may select any of the methods below based on your preference:
Open the GoPayz app and tap on the side menu.
Click the “Other Services” section, and select “Wallet Closure Request”.
Complete the form in the app with your personal bank details.
Upload a copy of your NRIC/Passport for identification, and include a bank statement or the first page of your passbook to support the balance refund request. Then, click “Submit”.
Open the GoPayz app and tap on the side menu.
Click the “Other Services” section and download the Service Request Form.
Alternatively, you can download the form from our website by accessing the following link: https://www.gopayz.com.my/content/dam/gopayz/en/support/faq/gopayz_service_request_form_v1.3.pdf.
Next, complete the PDF form with your personal and bank details.
Provide a copy of your NRIC/Passport for identification, and include a bank statement or the first page of your passbook to support the balance refund process.
Then, email the completed form to customercare@gopayz.com.my.
Note:
The last day to download your GoPayz statement is 31 March 2025. There are two (2) methods for you to download your GoPayz statement:
Open the GoPayz app and tap on the “Transaction” tab in the footer menu.
Then tap “Download Statement”.
Select the statement month that you wish to download for record-keeping purposes.
Important Note: Statements downloaded via the app are free-of-charge. You can only download statements for the past 6 months via the app.
Important Note: There will be an RM5.00 Statement Request Fee per statement per month charged to your wallet account. If your wallet account has insufficient funds, the statement will not be sent to you. You can only download statements for the past 12 months via email.
Please redeem your GoPointz by 31 March 2025, as all unredeemed GoPointz will automatically be forfeited after 31 March 2025.

Please be informed that GoPayz will proceed to close the customers’ accounts after 31 March, for those customers who have not taken any action to close their accounts by 31 March 2025. The affected customers will be notified that their account has been closed.
If you are an affected customer with available balance in your wallet, please lodge an appeal with the Registrar of Unclaimed Moneys to claim your money from 5 January 2026 onwards.

The last day of our service is 31 March 2025, and we will officially close our business on 1 April 2025.
Accounts with remaining balance: You should utilise or withdraw the remaining balance by completing the e-wallet Closure or Service Request Form by 31 March 2025.
Accounts with no balance: Your e-wallet account will be automatically closed and terminated after 31 March 2025.
For any active subscriptions or recurring payments linked to your GoPayz Prepaid Card: Update your payment method to another bank card if your GoPayz Prepaid Card is linked to any active subscriptions or recurring payments.
