You can sign up for GoPayz Service online by:
- downloading the GoPayz App directly from the Google Play Store, Apple App Store or the Huawei’s AppGallery, for free; or
- visiting GoPayz website at www.gopayz.com.my
Malaysian residents and foreigners who work or reside in Malaysia are welcome to apply for GoPayz Service as long as they are 18 years old and above. For foreigners, they will be required to provide details of their residential address in Malaysia.
You will be charged based on the table of fee provided under question 3 above. Cash withdrawals can be made using physical GoPayz Card at ATMs that accept Card Schemes cards such as Visa, Mastercard or UnionPay.
Please note that certain ATM may impose additional fees in addition to the fees specified above.
To sign up for GoPayz Service you must first sign up for the Basic Wallet Account. Just fill in your personal information required via GoPayz App or GoPayz Website to sign up for the GoPayz Service.
Once your Basic Wallet Account has been set up, you can upgrade your Basic Wallet Account to Premium Wallet Account by:
- telling us more about yourself by filling up the “know your customer” (KYC) form; and
- snap a photo of or upload a scanned copy of your MyKad (for Malaysians) or your MyPR (for Malaysian Permanent Residents) or Passport (for foreigners).
You will not be charged for signing up for GoPayz Service or for your GoPayz Account.
For Premium Wallet Account, you have the option to apply for a physical GoPayz Card by remitting a fee of RM16.00 upon your application of the physical GoPayz Card.

You are advised to check the fees and charges applicable before you perform any transactions via your GoPayz Account.
Frictionless Parking uses Sonicboom's Licence Plate Recognition technology, a usage scenario in the UnionPay International Content & Service Platform (UCSP), whereby a vehicle license plate, upon entering a carpark, will be automatically captured, and recognised upon exit. Payment for parking fee will simply be deducted from the pre-registered UnionPay account based on actual parking fee charged.
With Frictionless Parking, you can use pay for parking seamlessly at the list of parking lot available in the app.
Only GoPayz UnionPay card can be selected for Frictionless Parking.
At the Frictionless Parking page, go to Payment Settings and choose your default payment card to be activated and auto debited.
Yes, you may change your payment card for Frictionless Parking at the Payment Settings and choose your alternative GoPayz UnionPay card to be activated and auto debited.

No, PIN is not required. The payment will be automatically deducted from your activated UnionPay card upon exiting the parking site.
